Hey everyone! Hope you’ve all been doing well. It’s been a pretty busy week with GDC going on, as well as the announcement of our upcoming patches/the Abyss Chronicles. From the response on the forums, seems like you’re all as excited as we are about it! Hopefully we'll have lots more to share with all of you in the coming weeks.

Today we’ve got another little tutorial video for you. Like before, this is intended for newer players who are still getting used to the game. (Really, you’d be surprised how many people find stuff like this helpful.) I mention in the video that this is only one way to go about playing the Blademaster class, and I really want to emphasize the “one way” part. There are so many ways to play the game – the video just shows how I personally like to level up to 10 when playing a Blademaster. Check it out in the video player below.

Howdy folks! It seems there's a little confusion out there regarding the upcoming patch. Just to make it clear to everyone, there's a lot of stuff in there for both subscribers and non-subscribers. Skill tweaks, UI improvements, respecs, the PvP arena, new animations, and more - these are for everyone.

If you check the patch notes here, everything above "Special Subscriber Features" is included for all players. ^_^

As we continue to expand the Hellgate universe in the coming months, we have every intention to improve the game for everyone, subscriber or not.

Howdy folks. Tonight around 7:00PM PST, our billing system will be down for roughly an hour. What this means for you is that, during this downtime, you will be unable to:

1. Create an account
2. Begin a new subscription
3. Change your subscription plan
4. Cancel your current subscription

Everything else on the site, the game, and your account should be fully functional. We hope to have everything up and back to normal by 8:00PM PST. Thanks!

If you are still participating in the Hellgate: London beta, the grace period for playing the game without entering a retail registration key is almost up. On Wednesday, November 21, 2007, we will require that all accounts have a registration code in order to play.

To continue playing, you need to enter the registration key from your purchased copy of Hellgate: London into your existing account management page. You do not need to make a new account. You also do not need to be a subscriber to continue playing from where your characters are in-game. Simply log into your account and enter the retail registration key into the registration key field found on your account management page...

Previously, we had intended to end the beta grace period on November 14. But, we don't want to cut your game off prematurely, so please make sure you enter your retail registration key as soon as possible.

Again, no beta players without registration codes will be able to login and play Hellgate: London after November 21, 2007.

Howdy folks. We'll be rebooting both the US and EU servers soon to bring an end to Guy Fawkes Day. The specifics are:

• US server coming down tonight at midnight PST. That's 2:00AM CST and 3:00AM EST.
• EU server coming down November 13 at 6:00PM PST. That's 8:00PM CST, 9:00PM EST, and 2:00AM GMT.

The downtime shouldn't take too long (likely less than hour), so don't go too far from your PC. Thanks!
