Wow. Believe it or not, I've just got word that the Collector's Edition of Hellgate: London is almost sold out completely. And when I say completely, I mean COMPLETELY. We will not be pressing additional copies of the CE HGL, so once they're gone, they're gone forever. Just wanted to give you guys a heads-up!

Also, if you're currently in the Beta, we have some server tests we need to run this Saturday. For you, that means that you might find the server down any time between 10:00AM Saturday, to 10:00AM Sunday. We're gonna work our hardest to get things back up and running as soon as possible, so you'll still have some good weekend time to play. Lastly, once the servers do go back up, you'll find a new, shiny build to download (required). This will NOT require a character wipe. ^_^

Howdy folks. I know some of you have been wondering if your country is participating in the pre-order promotion for the Dye Kits, Founders Offer, etc. Well, now I've got the official list. Take a look.

I couldn't find links to some of the GAME/Gamestop stores, so try calling your local shop and ask about the pre-order - it might be that they're only doing in-store pre-orders.

For you UK folks, unfortunately, your local retailers are not participating in the pre-order promotion. You can still pre-order the game, but you will not receive the Dye Kit offer. Here are some links where you can pre-order the game:

Also, for those of you who are still asking if there will be a Collector's Edition available in the UK/Europe, there will not be. We really wanted it to be available everywhere, but things just didn't work out. Importing a copy is always an option, though you may want to check this FAQ first.

We know, we know - there are a number of you that are still waiting to get into the Beta. We feel your pain, we really do. Thing is, we've been working on a few major bugs and other issues, but are close to squashing them with the power of the almighty Mjolnir!

While we can't give you a specific date and time as to when you'll be let in, it shouldn't be too long. We've got a lot of you in so far, and all this testing has only made everything that much better.

Remember, this Beta is not ending on October 7 as some of you might think. We're going to run it as close to launch as possible, so even if you were let in the Beta with one of the later groups, you'll still have plenty of time to get in on the action. Think of it this way: the later you get let into the Beta, the better the game will play. Less bugs, less crashes, more Hellgate. And that's a good thing, right?

Most of you know by now, but the Collector's Edition of Hellgate: London not only comes with some sweet new box art, a making-of DVD, a map, a comic, and the game's soundtrack (whew!), but it also includes an exclusive in-game pet named the Mantawraith. You want to pre-order Hellgate: London. You walk into Best Buy or Wal-Mart, and no one knows what you're talking about. What gives?

Wow, this was confusing lots of people, us included. Apparently, Best Buy and Wal-Mart only start pre-order programs 30 days before a game comes out. That means until October 1st comes around, you can't pre-order Hellgate: London from them and get your hands on those awesome Dye Kits. Luckily, October 1st is right around the corner!

Also, please be aware that Best Buy will be taking pre-orders in-store and online, and Wal-Mart will only be doing in-store pre-orders. If you've been waiting for a specific Dye Kit from either one of them, you'll have your chance soon enough.
