There seems to be a little confusion on yesterday's Marksman Dye Kit example. It seems that a number of you think the Royal Dye Kit is the Wasp Dye Kit, and vice versa. While I can see where that logic comes from, it's incorrect.

The Royal color scheme tends to have lots of purples and yellows, depending on the armor, while the Wasp has lots of blue and yellow, also depending on the armor. That's clearly visible in the Evoker Dye Kit example.

But we don't just randomly throw colors on armor and call it a day - we tweak them to look the best, while staying within the general scheme. So, on the Marksman Royal Dye Kit, you're seeing a lot of yellow because that's what looked best. The armor actually glows as well, so you're seeing a lot of that lighting reflected on the armor. Here's an in-game screen of the two Dye Kits on the same armor, in different ambient lighting than yesterday's example.

In completely unrelated news, the first Flagship baby was just born! Last night, Jung Kwak, our graphic design guru, gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Sophie at 10:45pm. At 8lbs 2oz and 19.5", she's looking as healthy as can be. Sophie's hands are still a little too small to use a mouse and keyboard right now, but if anyone was born to play Hellgate: London, it's her. Let's all give Jung a big congrats!!!
